Rate My Professor
None of my reviews are a personal vendetta against the professors specifically but rather the way in which they structure their curriculum. Professors fail to understand what it means to be an educator. Concepts, theories, and material are all accessible on the internet for anyone to locate but application of the content is not. Professors choose a book to align with their curriculum but ultimately it is their responsibility to ensure their students are equipped with unequivocal guidance. I assure you that in no way do I intend to remove accountability on behalf of students because the effort put forth in learning a subject is just as important as teaching it. The issue at hand is, too often college professors fault students for their failure to effectively educate. It is fair to acknowledge that college professors condemn students by using their syllabus as a disclaimer for their lack of effort. I write my reviews objectively because I know that my effort reflects regardless of course difficulty. I’ve also managed to maintain an exceptional GPA because I hold myself accountable for my effort or lack there of. I love learning and difficulty is never an issue but, abysmal guidance certainly is.

Yeidaliz Garcia Nieves
Professor Garcia Nieves is a very smart women who is well versed in her field but, understanding a subject and having the ability to educate others are completely different. She she purposely makes her course material more difficult that it needs to be. Her assignment and test questions require conceptual thought organization before even beginning to address the questions themselves. That is an issue because there is no effort on her behalf to ensure students are grasping the concepts, she simply expects it. She overcomplicates concepts rather than simplifying them for easy comprehension. I personally would not recommend her course to anyone because she does not teach she simply expects. Also I acknowledge there is bias on my behalf because I took her course online but, I think that should impart her with more reason to reduce the complexities of her curriculum. This is definitely not an attack on her personal character because I am positive Professor Garcia is a wonderful woman but rather a review of her futile curriculum.
